Hello!  Nice to “meet” you!  I’m Michelle.  What can I tell you?  I’m curious about the world, about people, about how to make this life a little gentler. I'm political (leftist),  silly, tender, passionate, and analytical, with a weakness for dreamers and skeptics.  I love to learn new things, watch birds, hear people tell stories about what really matters to them. I love suddenly looking up and noticing the sky, the *idea* of making my own biodiesel (the reality is far more messy), and whirling around like a little kid until I'm completely dizzy. I’m excited about meeting new folks and  building community.  I’m trying to reconfigure my worklife so I can actually enjoy it, and would like to find a way to spend my time doing oral histories with cool people, abolishing the prison industrial complex, and finally really learning to do those spins in salsa.
